FAQ

The logistical map shows how to access the rigging area (“Rigging area” outlined in black) and where to park the trailers in the designated area (“Trailer park” in blue).

Here are some useful logistical guidelines for your arrival.

Check-in: Upon your arrival, head to the Resort Check-in Area (marked in green on the map). If you are a guest of the resort, take this opportunity to complete your check-in.

Parking and Preparation: After checking in, unload the boat in the Trailer Park Area (outlined in blue) and park the road trailer there. Park you car and walk your boat to the Rigging Area (outlined in black) where you can set it up.

Boat Trasport: From the Rigging Area move your boat to the beach, placing it in one of the designated yellow, white, or green zones.

Starting August 30, it is possible to bring boats and trolleys to the facility. We have arranged dedicated parking exclusively for trolleys, while boats will be placed on the beach. Those arriving before August 30 can contact the regatta office (Email: info@centrovelicopuntaala.it Tel: +39 349 881 6427+39 349 881 6392) for further informations.

Yes, it is possible. The boats can remain on the beach and will be securely anchored to the ground using pre-prepared sandbags.

The boats must be left on the beach, while the trailers will be parked in the designated “Trailer Park” area (outlined in blue on the logistical map).

There are no fixed or definitive assignments for the green, yellow, and white zones on the beach. Our local staff will recommend the best zone for placing your boat based on the racing area (alpha or bravo) assigned to your fleet.

No, the trailers will be placed in the dedicated parking area (“Trailer Park” marked in blue on the logistical map).

Each boat will be provided with two jute bags filled with sand to ensure it is securely anchored on the beach.

Yes, several water points are available for washing the boats after sailing, equipped with hoses of at least 30 meters, sufficient to cover the designated spots.

The RIBs must be registered on the event’s Manage2Sail To register, you need to send an email to the Race Office: info@centrovelicopuntaala.it. Yes, thanks to the collaboration with the sponsor Challenger Sails it will be possible to have boat route tracking through Metasail. Each competitor will need to collect their tracker at the time of registration.
Further details will be published as soon as available in the Notice of Race (NOR) and the Sailing Instructions (SI).

Yes, it is available for free near the event area.

Yes, visit the section dedicated to the Regatta Program to see all the entertainment events scheduled for the event.

As indicated in the Regatta Schedule, the Opening Ceremony will take place on Sunday, September 8th, starting at 5:00 PM at the event area, under the Event Tent.
