The Formula 18 (F18) Class is one of the most dynamic and spectacular in the international sailing scene. Based on a “box rule,” it allows any 18-foot catamaran that meets a set of technical parameters to participate in races. This flexibility has stimulated the creativity of builders and sailors, leading to a lively and innovative competition where the talent and strategy of crews make the difference.
The F18 Italian Championship is the event that awards the national title of the class, bringing together the best Italian crews in a unique and decisive regatta. An event that concentrates in a few days the highest level of national competition, including speed, strategy, crew fellowship and technical skill.
In addition to awarding the title of Italian Champion, the event also represents a valid test for the national ranking, confirming itself as one of the most important and awaited moments of the season for the Italian F18 Class.
